Qualification
What you are charged for
One price, one outcome. A subscriber has to clear every check below before it becomes a charge.
A qualified subscriber is someone who saw the recommendation, clicked it, confirmed they wanted the Newsletter, passed email verification, was not already subscribed, cleared duplicate and fraud checks, was within the Campaign's available capacity, and was successfully added to the Advertiser's selected ESP destination.
If the full process does not happen, the Advertiser is not charged and the Publisher does not earn for that event.
- Not confirmed
- The reader opened the reader confirmation page but never confirmed. Views alone are never charged or paid.
- Already subscribed
- The reader was already on the Advertiser's list. Nothing was added, and neither the Advertiser nor the Publisher is charged or paid.
- Verification rejected
- The email address did not pass verification, so it was never added. There is no charge and no earning.
- Capacity reached
- The Campaign had already reached its limit for the period. The reader was not added, so there is no charge and no earning.
- Recommendation unavailable
- The Campaign was paused, ended, or otherwise closed when the reader arrived. Nothing was added and nothing is owed.
- Delivery error
- The Advertiser's email platform could not accept the address. The subscriber does not count until delivery succeeds.
- Reversed in review
- The subscriber counted at first, then financial review reversed it. The charge and the earning are both removed.
