Newsletter subscriber acquisition

Newsletter growth from readers who actually confirm.

Inbox Opt-in connects Advertisers who want new subscribers with Publishers whose readers already trust them. Readers confirm for themselves inside a Newsletter they already chose.

Only qualified subscriptions create a pending Advertiser charge and Publisher earning.

Review Newsletter
  1. Reader confirmsThe reader chooses the subscription on a reader confirmation page.
  2. Email is verifiedThe address has to pass verification before it counts.
  3. Existing subscribers do not qualifyAn address already on the Advertiser list is not a qualified subscriber.
  4. Qualified subscriptions create financial recordsOne pending Advertiser charge and one pending Publisher earning.

How it works

One sequence, and a subscriber only counts when all of it happens.

Five steps, in order. A subscriber only counts when all of them happen.

Advertiser charge
Cost per qualified subscriber
Maximum spend
Subscriber destination

Pending charge

If the full process does not happen: No charge.

Written as pending when the subscription qualifies.

Qualification

What a qualified subscriber means

A qualified subscriber is someone who saw the recommendation, clicked it, confirmed they wanted the Newsletter, passed email verification, was not already subscribed, cleared duplicate and fraud checks, was within the Campaign's available capacity, and was successfully added to the Advertiser's selected ESP destination.

If the full process does not happen, the Advertiser is not charged and the Publisher does not earn for that event.

Reader experience

The reader always knows what happened.

The same reader confirmation experience is used for every outcome. The reader can see which Newsletter is involved, which masked email address is being used, whether a subscription was created, and what to do next.

The reader sees the Newsletter, masked email address, and a clear confirmation button before anything is added.

No hidden subscription. No misleading success state. The reader can always see whether a subscription was created.

Why this is different

Why this is different

Confirmation is the product

The reader chooses the subscription on a reader confirmation page. There is no silent add.

Reader trust stays with the Publisher

Recommendations run inside sends readers already opened. The Publisher keeps the relationship.

Money follows the outcome

A charge and an earning are written only for qualified subscribers, and both carry the reason behind every adjustment.

Trust

Identity, privacy, and the reason behind every result.

Readers decide for themselves, their address stays protected, and every qualified subscription carries the reason it counted.

  • Reader decision

The reader confirms before anything is added.

  • Identity and privacy

The public link never contains the raw email address.

  • Qualification

Every required check must pass before the subscription counts.

  • Financial transparency

Every charge, earning, credit, and adjustment has a reason.

How subscriber data moves

  • Public reader context

The recipient link does not contain the raw email address.

  • Inbox Opt-in processing

Inbox Opt-in processes the recipient email address only for confirmation, verification, duplicate and fraud checks, capacity, and delivery.

  • Advertiser delivery boundary

The Advertiser receives the subscriber only after the reader confirms and the subscription qualifies.

  1. Publisher email

A recommendation appears inside an email the reader already receives.

    Public reader context

  2. Secure recipient link

The link identifies the intended reader without placing the raw email address in the public web address.

  3. Reader confirms

The reader sees the Newsletter and a masked email address such as j••••@example.com before confirming.

    Inbox Opt-in processing

  4. Qualification checks

Email verification, existing subscriber, duplicate, fraud, and capacity checks run here.

  5. Advertiser destination
